Public urged to call 999 immediately as man wanted across West Midlands

West Midlands Police has issued an urgent wanted appeal after a burglary in the region. Police urged anyone who sees the suspect to "ring 999 immediately."

Michael Sutherland, from Birmingham, is currently wanted on suspicion of burglary. The force appealed for information on his whereabouts as they shared a mugshot to social media.

A warrant has been issued for the 38-year-old's arrest. Members of the public have been told to dial the emergency line if he's spotted. They issued the appeal on the evening of Tuesday, November 5.

They were given a specific warrant number relating to his case. The appeal, which was shared to Birmingham Police Facebook at 7pm, read: "WANTED | Have you seen Michael Sutherland?

"The 38-year-old, from Birmingham is wanted on suspicion of burglary. If you see him ring 999 immediately quoting warrant number 20/882444/24."
