Rebekah Vardy has fired fresh shots in her ongoing spat with Coleen Rooney, branding her 'calculated' right before her appearance on I'm A Celebrity. The wife of Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy spoke out as she started a new column for The Sun.

The 42 year old, who herself experienced the trials of the ITV show back in 2017, has lambasted Coleen for reportedly envying her life, and made a ferocious jibe at her spouse Wayne Rooney, the seasoned footballer turned manager.

She stated: "Everything Coleen does is quite calculated. I don't say this to be nasty, I say this because it's an opinion of mine. She likes to be the victim."

She accused the star of having a game plan for her time in the Australian jungle, adding: "She's been in this industry for a long time, she knows what she's doing, she knows how to play the game. I think she'll go into the jungle with a game plan."

Furthermore, she cautioned the celeb, saying 'If you want to fan the fire, the flames are going to get higher'.

Discussing the infamous tweet that led to their conflict and the infamous 'Wagatha Christie' defamation clash after Coleen publicly claimed Rebekah had leaked personal stories to the media - Rebekah remarked: "It wasn't in the public's interest to do that (the tweet). I just wish she'd have just turned up at my doorstep, or picked the phone up and had that conversation with me, woman to woman. But she wanted to do it publicly."

Back in 2019, Coleen Rooney had suspicions that Rebekah Vardy was the one leaking stories from her private Instagram to The Sun. To catch the culprit, she cleverly crafted false tales and tweaked her Instagram privacy so only Rebekah's account had access.

Coleen famously exposed Rebekah on Twitter, causing a social media storm. Fast forward to 2022, and Coleen emerged victorious in the libel battle against Rebekah, who was then slapped with paying 90% of Rooney's hefty legal fees, amounting to more than £1.8 million.
