A Strictly Come Dancing star made an emotional vow to his dance partner as she became tearful in practice.

As week four of the beloved BBC dancing contest kicks off, celebs are hitting the dance floor anew, eager to flaunt their progression since the previous bout.

Early to take the stage were Sarah Hadland, actress of fame, and her pro partner Vito Coppola whose performances have consistently shone, placing them second on the leaderboard each week.

Coming off a captivating turn with Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter during Movie Week, Sarah was back for a Foxtrot, this time set to Billie Eilish's "Birds Of A Feather".

Notably early into the VT, emotions ran high for Sarah when reflecting on the track's significance, reports the Mirror.

In the studio, Vito inquired of Sarah: "What does this song mean to you?"

Visibly moved, she responded, saying: "It's about my family. And it's about me and my little one."

The comical talent from Miranda chuckled through tears, finding solace in her partner's assurance that it's "fine".

Eagerly, Sarah explained: "And this song is special to us, because we sing it together and we also have a little picture of both of us as birds that we made together."

Then she showed off a childrens craft depicting two birds adorned with feathers, which prompted Vito to call it "so cute".

"And there's a little heart in the middle", highlighted Sarah, pointing at the artwork, before sharing: "It would be really lovely to show how I feel in the dance."

Vito, in a heartfelt moment with his dance partner vowed: "I promise you I will do my best in order to make sure the dance will represent your relationship."

Following their performance, judge Shirley Ballas praised the celebrity's "flawless" pirouettes, however, Craig Revel Horwood remarked she was "trying too hard".

Despite this, he acknowledged her talent, summing up she is a "clean, clean dancer, that's spectacular", which earned the duo 27 points.

The question on everyone's lips now: where will Sarah and Vito place on the leaderboard this week?
