Vanessa Feltz has opened up about her disastrous love life and revealed how she threw herself out of a moving taxi after Ben Ofoedu confessed to cheating on her

Vanessa Feltz shockingly revealed she jumped out of a moving taxi after discovering her partner Ben Ofoedu had been unfaithful. The 62 year old broadcaster was left in turmoil by the confession from her younger fiancé, 51 year old Ben, during the ride.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "He was spluttering, stuttering, expostulating. I didn't understand because he wasn't making sense. " "I couldn't stand another second. I couldn't bear it. I opened the door of the moving taxi and jumped."

"My coat was torn. Blood was seeping from a cut on my arm. I assumed he would stop the cab and follow to see if I'd survived the leap. He didn't. " Vanessa expressed her romantic frustrations, "I suppose you could say my entire love life has been a complete abomination, a catastrophe, an absolute car crash. People might think I'm an absolute fool. And if they do, they would not be wrong."

Despite not enjoying being single, Vanessa is cautious about jumping into a new relationship. She added: "I’ve been single for 21 months and counting. It's not my happy state."

"But I'm certainly not going to be plunging in with any old renegade who comes along and says they like my eyes. " "I won’t be going ‘Here's my cheque book’, ‘Come and take a kidney, what would you like? ’ ‘Please let me give you half my house immediately’. I'm not doing that anymore."

"I'm just not doing that. I've got to have learned something from all of this, haven't I? , and I hope I've learned that anyway."
