Car overturns in A456 Quinton Expressway underpass as two rushed to hospital

A car overturned after a crash that sparked long queues of traffic on one of Birmingham's busiest roads. A man and woman were rushed to hospital following the two-car pile-up in the A456 Quinton Expressway underpass. following crash in Quinton, Birmingham.

It happened at around 9.15pm yesterday, Saturday, November 16. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The A-road was blocked following the crash as emergency services including fire engines and police cars attended the scene.

West Midlands Police was investigating and has urged anyone with information to get in touch. The force told BirminghamLive: "We attended a collision involving two vehicles on Quinton Expressway, Birmingham at around 9.15pm last night.
