Police investigating a theft from a popular aquatics centre have released an image of a man they wish to speak to. West Mercia Police released a CCTV still of a man and a yellow van following the reported theft from Shirley Aquatics in Wythall.

The force said an expensive drill worth £180 was stolen from the store, and they are keen to speak to the man picture following the incident. The theft took place in July, and officers believe the man may be able to help with their enquiries.

The Alcester Road-based Aquatics store is a popular spot to buy tanks, marine aquariums and fish supplies and has more than 1,800 Google reviews. The man in the images was pictured with dark glasses and black clothing and white trainers.

He was picture with a striking yellow Renault van. Police urged anyone who may be able to help their investigation to get in touch with them directly, quoting the log number they have provided.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said on October 15: "We are looking to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to help with our enquiries into a theft from Shirley Aquatics at Health Farm on Alcester Road in Wythall.

"The man was seen driving a distinctive yellow Renault van with the registration ending HZS. On Sunday 14 July at around 3.30pm a Milwauke 18v drill, worth £180, was stolen from the store."

PC Elizabeth Hohman said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man pictured in CCTV images or who may have seen the distinctive yellow van.
