Birmingham footballer swaps one strip for another as Mr England hunk ensures ladies will love 2025

by · Birmingham Live

He's the hunky Birmingham footballer who never fails to score - and is getting results off the pitch too. Usman Janjua, from Birmingham, was a youth player at West Bromwich Albion before turning his attention to business and entering pageants.

He made it to the Mr England final and was crowned Mr Pakistan - and has now taken part in a cheeky 2025 calendar to raise vital funds for the Balls to Cancer charity. Twelve of the nation's fittest men, including reigning Mr England and Mr World contestant Manuel Alcantara Turner, 22, posed for pictures that will have buyers looking forward to every month of next year.

Also featured is sheep farmer and wrestler Nathan Angel, 21, who poses in only a pair of St George's cross boxer shorts. He will be competing in Mr International in Thailand next month. And there is security expert Christian Hawkins, 25, who appears in the May spread and will be alongside Nathan at the international contest.

Accountant Bal Tattla, 26, winner of the Mr England public vote, and groundsman Tommy Dodd, 32, grace the front cover of the calendar. Usman, 24, is currently competing with Manuel at Mr World in Vietnam.

Organiser Angie Beasley said she hoped to sell at least 1,000 copies of the £10 limited edition calendars, with more available on demand. She said: "I was introduced to the Balls to Cancer charity when we held Miss England this year. I'm proud to say both the Miss and Mr England finalists have raised thousands for the cause between them this year.

"Cancer doesn't discriminate and can affect any of us at any time, out of the blue I lost my son's father to leukaemia, my dear nan had stomach cancer and now my partner has prostate and bone cancer - but he's fighting it. There are so many types of cancer I never realised when I was younger.

"By creating this calendar hopefully it will raise more awareness to the younger generation to get checked regularly and look after themselves. Health is everything."

The next Mr World will be crowned next weekend. Manuel has reached the final 20 in the "head-to-head" round where he gave a speech about the importance of servicemen and women throughout the world on Armistice Day.
