Two people were arrested after police seized Class-A drugs from inside a car in Birmingham. Police said officers pulled over an Audi in Erdington before searching the vehicle.

Officers found a large amount of cash, cocaine, ecstasy tablets and crack cocaine inside, police said. The two occupants of the car were arrested.

Police shared an image of pink tablets on social media platform X following the incident. A second image showed a number of baggies with powder inside.

Police did not reveal exactly where the Audi was pulled over, or the date and time when officers stopped the car. West Midlands Police Traffic wrote on social media platform X this morning: "Road Crime Team officers were supporting Op Skybridge officers in Erdington tackling drug dealing when we stopped an Audi.

"Searches of the occupants located a large amount of cash and multiple deals of crack cocaine, cocaine & ecstasy tablets so both were arrested."
