Masked motorbike thugs kick man to the ground by Odeon Tamworth

A 61-year-old man was kicked off his bicycle by masked motorbike thugs near Tamworth's cinema. The shocking incident happened on Friday, November 1, coming out of the Odeon car park onto the Bolebridge Street island.

The victim, who was riding a bicycle, was forced to the ground as a result of being kicked but fortunately, he did not suffer any injuries.

Staffordshire Police confirmed: "On November 1 at 6.40pm, unknown offenders on motorbikes with no number plates kicked a 61-year-old male as they rode past them coming out of the Odeon car park onto the Bolebridge Street island.

"The victim, who was riding a bicycle, was forced to the ground as a result of being kicked. Fortunately, he did not suffer any injuries. The offenders were four young males on two motorbikes.

"The first motorbike was black in colour. The rider and passenger were both wearing black clothing and balaclavas with the rider also wearing a white helmet.

"The second bike was a large red motorbike, possibly a KTM, with the rider wearing a dark-coloured jacket and blue jeans. The passenger was wearing a black puffer jacket, black joggers and white trainers.

"Officers are conducting CCTV enquiries with Odeon and the town centre CCTV.

"If anyone was in the vicinity at the time who may have witnessed the incident or have any dash-cam footage or any relevant information then please contact Staffordshire Police on 101 or via the online form or Live Chat at www.staffordshire.police.uk quoting incident 671 of 01/11/2024."
