Three teenagers charged with Solihull town centre robberies

Three teenagers aged 15 and a 14-year-old have been charged with two counts of robbery.

Three teenagers have appeared in court in connection with two robberies in Solihull town centre. The youths, two aged 15 and the other 14, were charged with robbery.

The alleged incidents were said to have taken place on Sunday, October 6. They were remanded in custody and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 9.

Det Insp Mark Heard, from Solihull Police, said: “The Neighbourhood Crime Team are dedicated to protecting the communities and visitors in Solihull. Crime will not be tolerated and we are committed to keeping those who live, work and visit our borough safe.

"We will always seek to bring those who commit crime in Solihull to justice.”
