A man has been ‘stabbed’ at a Sutton Coldfield car park in the early hours following a dispute. The incident is said to have taken place at the Sainsbury’s car park in Mere Green Road in the town in the early hours of Friday (December 13).

The victim had posted an online appeal and said they were 'stabbed with a Stanley knife' in the early hours of Friday. They said they went to A&E as a result of the incident.

The man said he was appealing for the public of Mere Green and Sutton to identify a man he said was responsible for the incident. That post has been taken down and BirminghamLive is unable to show the photos of the alleged perpetrator, in any event, for legal reasons.
