Strictly Come Dancing fans 'agree' as they say 'right result' for leaked week four elimination

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left fuming as they claim the 'right result' of the week four elimination has been leaked online, just moments after the dance-off

by · Birmingham Live

Just after the Strictly Come Dancing contestants dazzled on the dancefloor, the next celebrity to face elimination was prematurely revealed. Although the outcome of the dance-off, which took place immediately following Saturday's live show (October 12), is meant to be under wraps until Sunday night (October 13), leaks have been a recurring issue.

Since 2012, the names of the departing couples have consistently found their way online each Saturday, much to the chagrin of the Strictly team. Judge Anton Du Beke has even voiced his concern that these spoilers are "ruining" the experience for die-hard viewers.

This week followed suit with the ousted celebrity's name surfacing on the internet, yet BirminghamLive.co.uk chose not to disclose the ousted duo. The source behind the spoiler stated: "With movie week a distant memory, the next major milestone our 13 remaining couples are aiming for is Halloween. But there's still a few weeks until we go trick or treating."

They added: "The BBC might want you to wait to learn the results but I'm happy to tell you the identity of latest couple who has left the Strictly ballroom."

The revelation caused an uproar among fans, prompting a flurry of social media posts expressing disappointment over the spoiled results, reports the Express.

Some criticised the account responsible for diminishing the suspense ahead of the official announcement. On X - previously known as Twitter - one viewer exclaimed: "Thank god for the judges! ! " while another concurred: "Oh this scoring is all over the place tonight #Strictly."

Meanwhile, another viewer expressed their surprise: "Wow, I was surprised to see them in the dance off but the booted star was the right choice to go." While another agreed: "I agree with the result. The right couple was saved."

Last weekend's Movie Night ended with mixed reactions as Olympian Tom Dean was eliminated from the competition. Alongside his partner Nadiya Bychkova, they found themselves in the bottom two and performed The Cha Cha to Boogie Wonderland by Earth, Wind and Fire for a second time.

Meanwhile, Toyah Wilcox and her dance partner, Neil Jones reprised their jive to Nutbush City Limits by Ike and Tina Turner. After the judges voted to save Toyah, the athlete reflected on his Strictly journey and said: "I've had the best time the last few weeks and getting to work with Nadiya has been incredible."
