Man held suspicion of drug dealing after car pulled over in Aston industrial estate
by Harry Leach, http://www.facebook.com/harrylleach/ · Birmingham LiveA man was arrested on suspicion of drug dealing after a car was pulled over in an Aston industrial estate. Op Skybridge officers saw a driver 'acting suspiciously' in Electric Avenue on Friday, November 1.
Police said the driver was stopped Bickford Road following a "short pursuit". A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and dangerous driving.
He was also being held on suspicion of possession of Class-A drugs with intent to supply. He remained in custody for questioning today.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We have arrested a man, and seized drugs and cash following patrols in Birmingham. Officers from our Op Skybridge team were patrolling in Aston, Birmingham, yesterday (Friday), and spotted a suspicious vehicle in Electric Avenue.
"Following a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped and searched in Bickford Road. A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, and following subsequent checks, for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
"Following further checks, we recovered a large quantity of Class-A drugs, along with a large amount of cash. The man remains in custody for questioning.
"Our Op Skybridge team is made up of plain clothed and uniformed officers who target areas where information is received about crime that affects our communities. This includes those believed to be involved in robbery, burglary and drug crime.
