Two puppies were snatched from a Birmingham property after they were advertised for sale online. Police issued a picture of two men officers want to speak with.

West Midlands Police said the owner of two German Shepherds, aged around 14 weeks, had agreed to meet with potential buyers at an address off Ladypool Road in Sparkbrook. But the suspects left with the dogs without making payment at 10.30am on Tuesday, September 24.

No arrests have been made and police inquiries continue.

Taking to social media, Birmingham Police posted:"We are appealing for help following the theft of two dogs from Sparkbrook, Birmingham last Tuesday (24 Sep). The two German Shepherds, aged around 14 weeks, were stolen from an address off Ladypool Road at around 10.30am.

"The owner advertised them for sale online and organised with the suspects to meet at the address. However, the suspects left with the two puppies without payment. We want to speak to the two men pictured as part of our investigation."
