Woman found dead in Perry Barr as police issue statement

She was declared dead at the scene. There were no suspicious circumstances around the death.
A file was being prepared for Birmingham and Solihull Coroner's Court. West Midlands Ambulance Service crews were not called to the incident.
A spokeswoman from West Midlands Police said: "We were called after a woman was sadly discovered dead in Electric Avenue, Perry, Barr, at just before 11.50pm on October 9.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious and report will be prepared for the coroner."
The woman was said to have been found near homes at the Perry Barr end of Electric Avenue according to locals.
