BBC Strictly Come Dancing faces storm over Craig Revel-Horwood remark as fans demand he 'shut up'

BBC Strictly Come Dancing has been slapped with complaints over a star's remark to one of the contestants in Blackpool. Sarah Hadland topped the leaderboard, in joint first position alongside Tasha Ghouri, the Love Island star, on Sunday night.

But Strictly Come Dancing star Craig Revel Horwood, who is one of four judges used by the programme, sparked fury with a comment to the actress and comedian. Fans left fuming at judge Crai on Saturday night after he made a two-word complaint to Sarah.

Craig, who was sat beside Motsi Mabuse, Anton du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas, branded the routine from Sarah on Saturday (November 16) as "a bit too perfect", which left fans scratching their heads and rushing to slam him.

Craig had said: "I know it sounds weird, I know it sounds weird! But it just lacked an attitude in those still moments that brought you out of the crowd. However spectacular, darling!". On Twitter/X, one fan raged and wrote: "'It was a bit TOO perfect' - oh shut the hell up Craig, no pleasing him.

"He constantly bitches about imperfections and then complains because there aren't any. Being a t**t for the sake of it." A second was also baffled, and asked: "Craig huh??? What the hell 'the dance is TOO perfect' means? Huh?".

"TOO PERFECT? ? Literally just give it a 10 it was so good ... that's what couples choice should be!!" another commented on the social media platform as the episode progressed, until 8.10pm, last night.

And another Strictly Come Dancing viewer who proved to be an irate fan blasted: "Craig saying Sarah was too perfect is a load of rubbish." They went on, adding: "He's waiting to give his 10 to one specific person and he's making stuff up to make sure it happens that way."
