Man killed after car crashes into ditch in Redditch
by Harry Leach, http://www.facebook.com/harrylleach/ · Birmingham LiveA man was killed in a single-car crash in Redditch on Sunday, November 3. The tragedy happened at around 10.45am, near Holloway Drive and Marlfield Lane junction.
Paramedics responded to reports of a car which had left the road before crashing into a ditch. When they arrived at the scene, police and firefighter colleagues were already performing CPR on the man who was the driver of the car.
Ambulance crews commenced advanced life support on the man but said that, sadly, nothing could be done to save him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene. West Mercia Police and the local fire service were also in attendance.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Crews arrived quickly on scene to find police and fire colleagues performing CPR on the driver, a man, who had been extricated from the car.
“The team of ambulance staff commenced advanced life support on scene but sadly, despite the best efforts of everyone, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead a short time later on scene.”
