A man has denied killing a three-week-old baby in a crash. Craig Nunn appeared at Worcester Crown Court via video-link from HMP Hewell on Monday, November 25.

Nunn - who wore a grey T-Shirt and black jogging bottoms - sat with his hands in his lap during the short hearing. The 39-year-old entered a not guilty plea to the charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

A trial date was set for April 22 next year. Judge James Burbidge KC told the defendant, of Sandy Lane, Stourport: "I am remanding you into custody to stand trial in April, but you will have to come to court on March 25 for a pre-trial hearing."

The baby was in the Suzuki and died at the scene. The other two occupants - a man and a woman in their 20s - were taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.
