Jamie Borthwick has broken down in tears on BBC Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two - after fans fumed "the wrong person was sent home". Jamie appeared on Monday night's spin off show after being voted off the programme on Sunday night.

Jamie, 30, was eliminated from the 2024 series after he landed in the dreaded dance off, with judges choosing to save Gladiators athlete Montell Douglas and her pro partner Johannes Radebe on Sunday night's results show.

TV presenter Fleur East interviewed BBC EastEnders star Jamie and pro partner Michelle Tsiakkas, 29, on November 25. Taking to Twitter, now X, one Strictly Come Dancing fan wrote: "The judges are too harsh on Jamie.

"That was genuinely amazing. I don't know why that didn't reflect in the scores." They added: "He has not been given fair markings compared to the others." During the studio interview, Fleur said: "Oh, it's emotional. Jamie, as an actor you really know how to put on a show."

Jamie replied back: "Are you crying as well?" The presenter said: "Yeah, you got me emotional watching it back!", as she wiped away a tear. Other fans taking to Twitter, now X, rushed to social media to brand the decision to axe Jamie "wrong".

Other fans savaged the show's fanbase for saving Pete Wicks, The ITV The Only Way Is Essex and Channel 4 Celebrity SAS star. "Seriously people please please stop voting for Pete enough is enough," one social media user and social networking platform user wrote.

A second stated: "Pete Wicks seems like a nice enough chap but I can't believe people are voting for him over Montell." And a third commented after the TOWIE star was saved again: "I love Pete, he's a laugh and he's trying and he's what it's about. But I'm sorry what the f**k."
