Dead Island 2 is probably the biggest current-gen title in this month's selection, with games like Return to Monkey Island and The Devil in Me representing fun reasons to play a few experiences that might have passed you by in years past. On the PS Plus Premium side, Dino Crisis is the obvious standout, but Siren is also an amazing horror undertaking from the PS2 days.

As always, we conducted a Push Square Poll over the weekend to gather your thoughts. Focusing solely on the PS Plus Extra lineup, almost half of you voted to say you're pretty happy with the selection of games. The same goes for PS Plus Premium, where the response was mostly positive. Dead Island 2 and Dino Crisis are what you are excited to play most.

About Liam Croft

Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he's found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

Dino Crisis isn't available to buy just as part of Premium, what a let down hopefully it changes later in the day.

I noticed that. I really want to play dino crisis but I want to buy it, not subscribe

Dino Crisis!
Since the original Resident Evil trilogy released on GOG a month or so ago I've been in heaven and this is just the cherry on top!

I want to play so many of these - but the Backlog!
From my perspective as a premium subscriber- it's another really strong month..

@Decoy_Snake It’s got to be Capcom holding out. It’s only their classics that are like this. Probably don’t want people buying these instead of the remakes (if they ever remake Dino Crisis that is).

With Neva coming out (currently 88 on Open Critic) it's worth highlighting Gris which was their previous game.

Seems Dino Crisis doesnt have trophy support either, so ill pass on playing it for now and hope they add them in the near future.

@VeldinX you'd think they'd want it to sell to see if there's interest, I know it wouldn't be a million seller but there's very few games more requested from them for a re-release or remaster

@Buck51 same not a chance of me getting premium right now, not worth the money for me personally.

@WizzNL Absolute bollox Dino Crisis doesn’t have trophies. I might as well play it on duckstation in 4K instead…

Dino Crisis makes this month worth it. Premium is finally starting to pay its way.

Hopefully, this is a sign that Resident Evil 2 and 3 Classic are coming.

Looking forward to playing Dino crisis and Siren again. Other than that nothing stands out. Definitely a better month thank most on premium for me though

@Decoy_Snake I do see where you're coming from, but as now currently reported with steam and most other digital platforms, you're just getting a licence to play which can be revoked. With digital ownership or subscriptions you're between a rock and a hard place. GOG offers DRM free purchases that are yours when downloaded, but they don't have Dino crisis.
If we want to protect our consumer rights the only chance is to vote with our wallets and support physical media. I know it's a inconvenience but that's just how it is. At the same time it's nice to have something you can share with others and resell.

Excellent. Just added Dino Crisis and Dead Island 2 to my library.
I'm another who'd like to buy Dino Crisis. Usually there's an option. I assume it's a bug?

@tameshiyaku I'm fairly certain that Sony can only revoke your licence if you are connected to the Internet. There is no online check that deactivates it.

Wait so you can't buy dino crisis? It's subscription only? Sigh...... well that puts a wrench in my weekend plans, oh well there are othe rgames to play.and if they change their minds and make it available to buy I'll do so

One question..

Who you gonna call?

@Simu001 It'll probably appear later in the afternoon, here in UK the store updates between 2pm and 4pm

I was excited to play Dino Crisis but when i opened up PS store, the game isn't free for anyone who own PS1 Classic ver but also it can't be buy individually aka you must subs to PS+ Premium / Deluxe to played it, the same with RE Director's Cut. Like WTF Capcom?! :/

sigh. i guess i try to finish some of my backlog...

Oh my god I CAN FINALLY PLAY SIREN WITH THE JAPANESE VOICES!!! I don't have to use the goofy English voice acting anymore😭😭😭

@Jrs1 I'm from switzerland so fingers crossed 🤞

They took away the Kingdom Hearts series and Rockstar games, but hey at least we get Two Point Campus guys!!!

crickets chirp

Absolute joke you still can't play PS1 games even if you bought them originally, instead they make you subscribe to play a 24 year old game.

N.i.c.e. a lot of good horror games for the spooky horror month.word up son

Meh I don't see the point in this service

Dino Crisis wasn't released on the european ps3 store and now we still can't play it if not under a lousy subscription program. Who gets the blame, capcom or sony ?
