Police release image of distinctive car in search over town burglary

Officers investigating a burglary in a Derbyshire town have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to. Derbyshire police are investigating the incident, which took place between 9.30pm and 9.45pm on Sunday, September 8, at a business in Bridge Way, Chesterfield, and believe the man pictured may have useful information.

The image shows a white man with grey hair wearing a blue T-shirt, black shoes and grey trousers. The force also released an image of a blue Ford car which was seen in the area on September 8.

A spokesperson for Staveley Police's Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Officers are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with a burglary in Chesterfield. We are keen to speak to the man pictured in connection with this incident as he may have information which could help with our investigation.
