Power transmitters and cables were stolen from the 33 KV Ywartanshe village substation in Kayah State. On November 3, U Aye Kyaw, Deputy Minister of Electric Power, along with Kayah State Minister of Natural Resources U Saw Huhu, visited Loikaw to inspect the damage caused by insurgent activity. They assessed repair needs for both the power control room and staff housing in the compound.
