Air pollution: The Supreme Court earlier in the day slammed the Delhi government over the delay in the implementation of stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in the national capital despite the alarming rise in pollution.

The Supreme Court asked states to decide on suspending physical classes up to 12th grade amid pollution crists. The top court also stated that GRAP IV will remain in force in Delhi regardless of AQI improvements.

All schools in Delhi-NCR will have to now shift to online mode due to hazardous air pollution levels. This move came into effect after the Supreme Court order. Read more about it here.
