The Bangkok Post reported that Myanmar workers in Thailand have protested after a broker defrauded about 100 Myanmar workers by promising them jobs. The Myanmar workers allegedly paid the Thai brokers between 3,000 and 7,000 baht each, some in cash and some through bank accounts.
