Covent Garden murder suspect charged as victim named
A MAN has been charged with murder after a pensioner was found with serious injuries which led to his death last month. Metropolitan Police officers have named the victim as 74-year-old James O’Neill, known to his family as ‘Jim’. Officers were called to Odhams Walk in Covent Garden at 11.56pm on Sunday, October 6, where they found Mr O’Neill with serious injuries. A 57-year-old man who was arrested on October 6, has since been charged in connection with the investigation.
