Minister for mines, excise and prohibition Kollu Ravindra said the Machilipatnam port works would be completed by the end of next year.

The detailed design of the Greater Vernon Cultural Centre is expected to be completed by the end of this month. 

The Deputy Commissioner of Shivamogga has ordered the closure of the entrance to Jog Falls, a major tourist attraction of the district, for tourists between January 1, 2025 and March 15, 2025, in view of on-going civil works on the premises.

"...there will be free train services to all Nigerians from the 20th up until the 5th of January," the minister said.
