The Aminjikarai Police in Chennai have arrested a 37-year-old resident of T. Nagar on charges of repeatedly harassing and threatening to physically harm a 22-year-old woman residing in Aminjikarai. 

The Job Racket Wing of Avadi City Police has arrested a 48-year-old woman from Kanyakumari district, who was also a functionary of Congress party, for allegedly cheating a woman to the tune of ₹59 lakh on the pretext of getting a medical seat for her daughter.
