JN Group, ATL collaborate on initiative to enrich customer experience

In a move to enhance service delivery and enrich the experience for their members and customers, the JN Group and Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) have entered into a collaborative marketing initiative, dubbed SMARTBUY.

Under the initiative, customers of ATL and JN members will benefit from exclusive deals and promotions of key products and services, as well as additional value.

Persons wanting to purchase appliances and home goods from ATL can apply for financing at affordable rates and repayment terms from JN Bank. They will be able to access JN Bank unsecured loans quickly and conveniently through the JN Financial Group’s new and unique ONE JN Passport app, which customers can download to apply for unsecured loans, end-to-end, without having to visit the bank. JN Bank will also provide ATL employees with access to relevant JN Group products and services.

From ATL, JN members will benefit from education on energy management to help them get the most from their appliances over time.

Curtis Martin, managing director, JN Financial Group, says the collaboration is a “win-win” that will enhance the experiences of both JN and ATL members and customers.

“This initiative affirms the commitment of both companies to superior service and experiences. It is about prioritising customer needs, and ensuring a seamless and enriching customer experience,” he explained.

He added that the collaboration also allows JN to expand access to its innovative ONE JN Passport app, which streamlines access to the JN Financial Group’s financial services.

“Now persons are empowered to access financial services, to include financing, conveniently and receive decisions quickly so that they can make important personal decisions fast,” Martin outlined.

With the ONE JN Passport app, customers can swiftly access personal unsecured loans, as low as $30,000 and up to $5 million from JN Bank, at very low monthly payments, to facilitate the purchase of ATL products. The app will provide a decision on the loan application in minutes and, if successful, the loan proceeds will simply be deposited to the JN Bank account indicated by the borrower.

Bradford Wong, general manager for ATL, in welcoming the initiative, agreed that by joining forces, ATL and JN are poised to enhance their collective customer experience and provide even greater value.

“We anticipate that we will deliver flexibility and added convenience, enabling customers to opt for manageable monthly payments and eliminating the need to compromise on quality,” he said.

He added that: “SMARTBUY promotes affordability, allowing customers to make multiple purchases at once without the hassle of prioritising one appliance over another, as each plays an essential role in their daily lives. For example, new homeowners can effortlessly outfit their entire kitchen or living space from our comprehensive range of home appliances and air conditioning units, and more. This opportunity will enhance customer satisfaction.”

Both JN and ATL employees can claim benefits under this initiative. ATL employees receive discounts on life insurance, receive an extended loan tenure on unsecured financing and a bonus on their JN Money remittance card; while by presenting their company identification at stores, JN employees receive discounts on select ATL products.

By showing their JN-issued card, to include debit and credit card as well as JAA membership card or JAA Advance fuel card, JN members can also access discounts on select products from ATL.
