All Government of Jamaica offices will close at 4 p.m. today to allow for preparations for the looming storm.

The Office of the Prime Minister says the decision has been made as a precautionary and proactive measure to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the public as weather conditions are anticipated to deteriorate.

The Met Office has advised that adverse weather conditions may develop this evening, potentially impacting transportation and the ability of employees to commute safely.
