Over 80 stalls bring cheer to Torrington’s Christmas market

Great Torrington was buzzing with Christmas spirit on Saturday, November 16 as the town was filled with traders and visitors for the annual Christmas Fair.

South West Event Management Solutions CIC volunteers Lucy and Sam organised the Town Hall and Pannier Market - filling them to the brim with local traders.

Traders said that it was brilliant to see the town buzzing and the atmosphere was amazing. Lots of money was raised for local charities, too, with thanks going to the organisers for their support with this.

The event was a whole town affair with Castle Hill Creatives filing the Castle Hill community centre with artists and creators - and the local churches were full of stalls too.

With over 80 stalls across the event and a fantastic selection of local independent shops, Great Torrington’s Christmas Fair is the biggest in the area. Organisers want to extend huge thanks to everyone involved and everyone that visited the event.
