SAC Chair meets separately with Cambodia and Laos Prime Ministers in China

Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held separate meetings with the prime ministers of Cambodia and Laos during his visit to China, sources said.

Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing had a meeting with the Prime Ministers who are attending summit meetings, including the 8th Great Mekong sub-region summit to be held in Kunming, China on November 6.

In the meeting, the SAC chairman of NASK met the Prime Minister of Cambodia, H.E. Mr. Hun Manet and the members at Green Lake Hotel on the morning of November 6 and The Prime Minister of Laos, H.E. Mr. Sonexay Siphandone and the members at the HUALUXE Kunming Hotel seperately.

During the meeting, they discussed the conditions to increase the friendship and cooperation between the countries of Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, Myanmar's political developments and current physical conditions, the conditions under which a free and fair multi-party democratic general election can be held, the best cooperation conditions of Myanmar within the ASEAN and the conditions of Myanmar's participation in ASEAN meetings.

In addition, they discussed the situation in Myanmar which needed to be resolved peacefully, the conditions in which Cambodia and Laos to help Myanmar as much as possible, issues of friendship and diplomatic relations, matters related to mutual visits of friendship trips, trade and investment sector, tourism sector, and issues related to the promotion of the social sector and cultural sectors and issues of increasing cooperation in other sectors between the countries of Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.

After the meetings, the Chairman of SAC and Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Laos warmly greeted the attendees.
