Irish jobs: Supermarket giant Tesco hiring 1,200 new workers nationwide in the lead up to Christmas

Supermarket giant Tesco is looking to hire 1,200 seasonal employees in the run-up to Christmas.

The jobs will mainly involve working in Tesco’s Superstores and Extra stores for either early morning, day or evening shifts, so that prospective applicants can find an opportunity that fits around them.

Tesco says these roles are designed to offer flexible hours, a variety of shift options and competitive benefits from day one, making them attractive for individuals seeking work over the festive season.

Once the seasonal period comes to an end, there may be opportunities for Christmas workers to apply for any permanent roles available in existing stores or in new Tesco locations planned for the coming year.
