Tesco Clubcard members who are given 'challenge' could save £100 in time for Christmas

Tesco customers have the opportunity to save up to £100 this Christmas through a 'challenge'. Selected members of the rewards scheme are invited to participate in its Clubcard Challenges game, which runs until December 31.

Once enrolled, participants will receive personalised challenges over the coming weeks. The Clubcard Christmas Countdown campaign is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who hold a valid Clubcard account and use the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app.

To take part, customers must opt in by clicking 'Count me in' on the Clubcard Christmas Countdown enrolment instructions within the Clubcard section of the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app or by following the instructions in the invitation email. The Clubcard Christmas Countdown offers customers the chance to earn up to six rewards by completing individual weekly challenges, which involve making specific purchases in-store or via Tesco Grocery online shopping.

Tesco has laid out a new scheme dubbed Clubcard Christmas Countdown that will provide customers with varying rewards for completing weekly challenges. Participants can earn up to one reward per week for six weeks, with an additional reward for finishing all six challenges.

Tesco elaborated, "Customers that opt in to Clubcard Christmas Countdown will be entered into a weekly challenge throughout the promotional period to take part in. Each challenge will clearly state what the customer needs to do to complete the challenge and the reward for completing the challenge.", reports Birmingham Live.

The UK's leading supermarket further explained, "Once customers have made a purchase relevant to a challenge and within the challenges' specified timeframe, with a Clubcard either in-store or online linked to their Clubcard account, it will be counted, and the challenge will remain active until it is has been completed or has expired."
