Morrisons issues urgent recall for product as it is 'potentially unsafe'
by Thomas George · NottinghamshireLiveAn urgent product recall has been issued for Morrisons Crushed Garlic due to a missing ingredient that prevents microbiological growth, making the product "potentially unsafe to eat", according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA). The supermarket is recalling the item and no other products are known to be affected.
The FSA stated on its website: "Morrisons is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in stores where the product was sold. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product."
Customers who have purchased the 75g packets with a best before date of October 19, 2025, are advised not to consume it but return it to the store, with or without a receipt, for a full refund, reports the Manchester Evening News.
