Major helicopter training

Pentictonites may notice the sights and sounds of a lot of helicopter activity in the coming days.

Pilots from Wildcat Helicopters, a service based in West Kelowna, are conducting training in the area this week.

Specifically, they are working on emergency training at Penticton Airport.

As a result, residents may hear and see plenty of chopper activity.

Penticton is a popular location for helicopter training activity, including attracting military clientele.
