Traffic clear in Lake Country

UPDATE 6:15 p.m.

The collision at the intersection of Highway 97 and Beaver Lake Road has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.

ORIGINAL 4:47 p.m.

Traffic is coming to a crawl Friday afternoon in Lake Country.

Castanet received a news tip at 4:40 p.m. that a car crash has halted traffic near the intersection of Beaver Lake Road and Highway 97.

Northbound Highway 97 traffic is backed up to Ellison Lake as of 5 p.m. Friday.

The collision is impacting northbound Hwy 97 traffic and motorists should expect delays.
