Crash closes Hwy 97

A motor vehicle accident north of Vernon has closed the highway near Swan Lake.

Few details are available, but DriveBC is reporting Highway 97 is down to single lane alternating traffic near Meadowlark Road.

The BX Swan Lake Fire Department is on scene as are police and BC Ambulance crews.

It is not known at this time if there are any injuries from the accident.
