Anthony von Mandl, who is known primarily for being in the beverage business, is looking to build 24 townhouse units near Kelowna’s Knox Mountain.

Von Mandl’s development company, Vines & Rebar Construction Management, has submitted a rezoning application to the City of Kelowna for 1528 MacLeay Ct., which is located near the southeast corner of Knox Mountain.

The relatively large piece of property, which is at the end of MacLeay Court and near Patricia Court and Smith Place, currently features one single-family home. The plans call for 12 buildings, each with two townhomes.

Von Mandl’s primary company, The Mark Anthony Group of Companies, owns and operates businesses like Mission Hill Family Estate Winery and Whiteclaw Spirits.
