Monzo bank customers can get free money but only have 30 days

New or existing customers of an up and coming bank could get some free money this month - and it's easy to do. Monzo, an app-based bank, says that to get free cash, all you need to do is send a link to a friend.

Currently, the bank allows you to invite your friends to join Monzo and you'll both get £5. And if you send the link to more than one person, you will get more money.

But in order to get the cash, your friend needs to carry out a few steps first. To get the free money, you need to share your link with everyone you'd like to invite.

In return, Monzo will give you and them £5, subject to some steps. They will need to sign up and make a card payment within 30 days in order for you both to get the cash.

If they sign up and do not make a payment with their Monzo card within this 30 day period, you will not get the payment.

Monzo were founded in early 2015 and in August 2016, they became a regulated bank, and a team of more than 2,000 work from a London HQ and remotely around the world. Today, more than 10 million people in the UK use Monzo. You can get the free cash by heading to their website here.

Step 1:

Click a button to get your unique refer a friend link. Share it with your friend.

Step 2:

Your friend accepts the invite and applies for a Monzo account (within 30 days).

Step 3:

Your friend makes their first card payment (within 30 days). You both get £5.
