Kerala Cabinet allocates 105 acres of land in Palakkad for Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor development

by The Hindu Bureau · The HinduThe Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday (December 11, 2024) allocated 105.26 acres of land to develop the ambitious Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor.
The land falls in Puthussery taluk in Palakkad district. The Cabinet has categorised the land grant for the Kerala Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited as the State’s share in the project.
The Cabinet also increased the retirement age for NORKA employees from 58 to 60 and reappointed Harshad H. Hameed as Kerala’s standing counsel in the Supreme Court.
The Cabinet also declared an additional ₹175 crore guarantee for the Women’s Development Corporation and accepted the tender for the development of the Kadappara-Veeyuporam road in the Pathanamthitta district.
