JK group evinces interest in investing in aerospace sector in A.P.
Group also expresses readiness to give necessary skill training to unemployed youth in State

Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kondapalli Srinivas has said that the representatives of JK group have expressed their willingness to invest in the aerospace sector in Andhra Pradesh. Although the JK group had previously considered investing in Karnataka and Telangana, due to the proactive efforts of the State government they have evinced interest in A.P., he said.
Representatives of the JK group met the Minister on Friday and discussed the investment opportunities available in the State, the favourable geographical conditions, and the conducive environment for the industries they planned to establish in A.P.
The representatives expressed their interest in investing in the Aerospace Park in Puttaparthi, following the Minister’s suggestions. They also expressed their readiness to train unemployed youth in the State, providing them with the necessary skills required for the companies. They said the availability of land for industries and the business-friendly government were the key factors that influenced their decision.
The Minister directed Secretary (Industries) Yuvraj to take the necessary steps to help the JK group representatives inspect the land at the Aerospace Park.
Phillips India group had come forward to offer skill development training to the staff working in the industries established in the Aerospace Park, he added.
