'I’m a deal stacker and found a way to get £228 of Liz Earle for £73 this Black Friday'

As a beauty writer and self-confessed bargain hunter, Black Friday is one of my favourite times of year for both saving festive gifting, and stocking up on my own makeup and skincare stash. And this year, I’ve discovered a deal stack that will get shoppers more than £220 worth of full sized Liz Earle favourites for less than £75 - but you’ll have to be quick.

The British skincare brand has launched its official Black Friday sale, offering up to 40% off everything. Plus, when customers spend over £65, they’ll be able to bag a free gift, worth £86.

Running for just 48 hours from November 27-28, anyone who meets the spend threshold and uses the code BLACKFRIDAY2 at the checkout will get the Liz Earle 3-Piece Relaxing Collection for free. The set includes a full sized version of the brand’s Cleanse & Polish in the Rose & Wild Eucalyptus scent, alongside a Relaxing Edition Skin Tonic 200ml, Skin Repair Night Cream Tube 50ml and two Pure Cotton Cloths.

But to qualify for the free set, shoppers will need to meet the £65 spend, and if you’re savvy, you can take advantage of even bigger savings. For example, the Skincare Routine Glow Essentials with Botanical Essence No.15 is worth £142, but has been reduced to £73 as part of the November shopping event, saving 48% on the RRP.

The four-piece set features three full sized products from Liz Earle's ‘glow’ collection, as well as a warm and cosy fragrance. The Botanical Essence No.15 Eau de Parfum features notes of clove, bergamot, cinnamon, elemi and pink pepper, which makes for a wonderful, wintery scent.

Meanwhile, there’s skincare heroes in the form of a Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser, Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic and Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser. Together, the Skincare Routine Glow Essentials with Botanical Essence No.15 and the free 3-Piece Relaxing Collection boast a combined value of £228, but shoppers will pay less than a third of the retail price at £73.

Another way to look at it is that you get seven full sized products and two cotton cloths, the latter of which are usually £5 for a pair, you’re getting each product for less than £10 each. And a 50ml bottle of the perfume is worth £62 on its own.

The fragrance has earned a 4.9 star rating from shoppers on the Liz Earle website. One said: “This is my all time favourite fragrance. I have been using it for many years now and always get complimented on it and asked what I am wearing. I always stock up when it is on offer.”

A second added: “My husband purchased this perfume No 15 for me as a gift. It’s absolutely divine, the smell is unique and sophisticated. I love it.” While a third penned: “I love this perfume. Everyone comments on how lovely it smells. And it lasts for so long.”

But for others, the scent is too strong, with one two-star review reading: “I thought I'd be buying a light natural essence. It's nothing like that. A very strong sickly perfume that I cannot wear.”

If you didn’t want to opt for a gift set, there are lots of Liz Earle products on sale individually, including the Cleanse + Polish 200ml Starter Kit, which is 25% off at £24.75, down from £33. Another offer sees the Superskin Advanced Firming Serum-in-Moisturiser 50ml cut from £49 to £36.75, while the Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion 150ml was £18, but is now £12.60, saving 30%.

Elsewhere, Boots has launched the Liz Earle Glowing Hydrating Routine 4 Full-Size Piece Gift Set Star Gift, which is worth £93. It contains the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Face Cleanser 200ml, Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion 150ml, Instant Boost Skin Face Tonic 200ml, Hydrating Cream Face Mask 75ml and two Pure Cotton Cloths all for £38

Other beauty brands that have launched Black Friday offers include Charlotte Tilbury who has discounted its beloved Dewy Pretty Blushed Cheeks Kit. The set contains two of the brand's best-selling products: the viral Hollywood Flawless Filter and a Cheek to Chic blush. Plus, Stacey Solomon's co-owned brand Rehab is offering up to 50% off its hair care heroes, a free mini brush, and a trial of its popular hair oil capsules with every order.
