Damon Keegan

A prolific burglar who broke into people's homes as they slept and snatched their luxury cars has been put behind bars. Damon Keegan stole almost £350,000 worth of high-end cars including BMWs and Audis over the space of just a year, Greater Manchester Police said. The 31-year-old ran a 'sophisticated' burgling operation across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire, but was busted when officers searched his garage and found a lock-picking set, a spy camera and a sledgehammer. Keegan, from Hyde, was also caught using a radio frequency jamming device - used to block WiFi and phone signals, and disconnect doorbell cameras at homes. He would often break into houses as families slept inside, using 'intrusive and ruinous methods'. Now Keegan has been locked up for more than six years for his crimes. Read the full story here.
