A one bedroom apartment near the former Brookside soap set is up for auction. Located on Brookside, West Derby, the first floor apartment with accommodation comprises of an entrance hall, small landing, lounge, kitchen, inner hall, bedroom and shower room/WC.

The area became famous decades ago for being the set of legendary Channel 4 soap, Brookside, which ran for 21-years. Created by Phil Redmond, who was also behind Grange Hill and Hollyoaks, Brookside was renowned for tackling challenging social issues and debuted in 1982.

On its website, Mags Property said: "Situated in Brookside on the popular Parklands development, this is a desirable and established residential location offering easy access to local amenities including various amenities.
