The glossy Yearbook is a snapshot of the moments that defined the past 12 months and sparked conversations across our communities in the county.

This year was one of historic milestones, remarkable achievements, and unforgettable events for Kildare, with both local and international highlights filling the Yearbook's pages.

St Conleth’s Park in Newbridge was opened after a €18m revamp and there was thrilling National League success for Kildare LGFA.

We celebrate local food entrepreneurs such as baker Daragh O'Brien, chef Alex Adams in Kill and the foodies behind the innovative Field Kitchen business.

Significant milestones across Kildare are also marked such as Naas Racecourse celebrated its centenary and the “tin church” in Sallins also marked 100 years since it was established. And in the small community of Halverstown in south Kildare, the Cricket Club also celebrated its humble origins when the first game was played in 1924.

We also focus on local people who have gone out in the world and made us proud - such as Nicola Brennan who has had a proud career in the diplomatic service including as Irish Ambassador in Ethiopia.

We cast our eye on far-flung holiday destinations such as Japan or the lesser known city of Zaragoza in Spain.

From milestones to moments of joy, this Yearbook captures the heart of 2024 in Kildare.
