Renovations and alterations have been approved by Kildare Co Council for The Stream Inn.
Plans approved for the public house and residence include the construction of new roof to cover all existing hip roofs.
Two bedrooms at first floor level will be extended.
A new entrance will be built to the existing bar area as well as a new canopy over the existing entrance to lounge.
The existing porch will be extended to the residential area.
A covered walk-way between the existing public house and the adjoining building is also in the designs.
The alteration and replacement of all windows is included.
The Stream Inn premises was put up for sale a number of years ago.
The pub building comprises of a traditional bar and lounge accompanied by a games area and private function room with a working kitchen.
The first-floor residence comprises of a substantial home with a kitchen/dining room, living room, four bedrooms, bathroom, and benefits from high ceilings.
