The new owners of the Keadeen Hotel have appointed Kildare native,  Michael Masterson, as the new General Manager.

On Thursday evening, the Keadeen Hotel’s owners, Matthew O’Callaghan and Denis Williams, warmly welcomed Senator Fiona O’Loughlin, Cathal Barry TD and Councillors, Pat Balfe, Peggy O’Dwyer and Brian O’Loughlin and the local community, marking a continued legacy of family ownership and community commitment.

The evening celebrated the O’Callaghan Family’s vision for Keadeen’s future, which include significant capital investment plans to both enhance the hotel’s current facilities, upgrade the Leisure Centre and to add on additional bedrooms which will enable the hotel to drive additional visitor numbers into the town and local area.

The hotel was acquired by the O’Callaghan family last July, experienced hoteliers, and owners of both The Fairways Hotel and The Gateway Hotel in Dundalk.

Matthew O’Callaghan, owner, commented, “This evening was about celebrating the Keadeen’s legacy and sharing our commitment to its future with the Newbridge community. We look forward to adding new chapters to its rich history while retaining the warm, welcoming spirit that generations of guests have loved.”

As part of this exciting transition, the O’Callaghan family has appointed Kildare native, and tenured hotelier, Michael Masterson, as the new General Manager. "I look forward to bringing fresh perspectives to the Keadeen Hotel, alongside the O’Callaghan Family and the iNUA Hotel Collection while honoring the hotel’s rich heritage.”

Sean O’Driscoll, Director of Hotels at Cliste Hospitality and CEO of The iNUA Collection, which manages The Keadeen on behalf of the O’Callaghan family, added, “It is a pleasure to celebrate this new chapter for the Keadeen Hotel alongside the Newbridge community. We are proud to be part of this journey with the O’Callaghan family and look forward to supporting the hotel’s continued success in Kildare.”
