A FULL LIST of postcodes eligible for £25 Cold Weather Payments from the Department for Work and Pensions has been revealed. A full list of the postcodes that should expect a Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) Cold Weather Payment if they meet the eligibility criteria has emerged.

If you're eligible, you'll get £25 each time the average temperature in your area is – or is forecast to be – 0°C or below for seven days in a row between 1 November and 31 March. If you're eligible, you should receive £25 in your bank account automatically within 14 working days.

The first Cold Weather Payments have been triggered for 2024/25. An estimated 10,000 people across 18 postcodes (12 postcodes in Cumbria, four in Northumberland, and two in the Scottish Borders that cross into England, will receive the £25 payment.

The DWP's Cold Weather Payment scheme runs from November to March, providing eligible households with a one-off £25 payment each time the temperature falls below 0C for seven consecutive days. To qualify, households must be receiving certain benefits from the DWP.

Payments are automatically sent to eligible households in each postcode area if the temperature is recorded or forecasted to be below zero for seven days in a row Those claiming Pension Credit, Income Support, income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA), income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Universal Credit, Support for Mortgage Interest may be eligible for the sums.
