Martin Lewis' MSE warns Tesco shoppers 'you have just days left'

Martin Lewis and his Money Saving Expert team have warned Tesco shoppers: "You have just days left". The BBC and ITV star's team are warning millions of supermarket shoppers have just days left to use £18million worth of loyalty scheme vouchers before they expire.

Tesco has warned customers to use their rewards points before midnight on November 30. MSE explained: "Tesco shopper? You've just DAYS left to use £18 million worth of Clubcard vouchers – or extend them with our trick."

Shoppers in the Clubcard scheme earn vouchers by spending in-store or online, with every 150 points worth £1.50. But vouchers expire after two years, so you might lose them if you don't use them in time, the retailer has said.

To extend the vouchers' expiration either online or through the Tesco Clubcard app, MSE encourages shoppers to make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards page, and the remaining balance will be transferred back as points.

You can then convert your points into vouchers, which will be valid for another two years. Customers earn points for every pound spent at Tesco stores, online, or at Tesco petrol stations. They can also earn points by using Tesco Bank credit cards, or by shopping at selected brands through the Clubcard Points Partners program.

Customers receive vouchers for every 150 points they earn. These vouchers can be used in-store or online at Tesco - which is rivalled by Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi - and can be used to purchase groceries, clothing, electronics, and more. Customers can also exchange their vouchers for up to double their value with Clubcard Rewards partners.

Customers can find their digital vouchers in the Clubcard section of the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app. To use a digital voucher in-store, customers can scan the voucher code from their phone at the checkout.
