EDF is handing customers £2,500 cash boost if they act before Sunday

EDF is offering a "substantial discount" on heat pumps to bring down energy bills as families could save £2,500. Households can save up to £2,500 on new heat pump installations through a combined offer from EDF and Ideal Heating launched this autumn.

The package includes a £1,000 discount on heat pump purchases, plus additional savings of at least £1,500 through the Heat Pump and Power Tracker Tariff. Available via EDF Heat Pumps, the Heat Pump and Power Tracker Tariff offers customers a free 7-year warranty, servicing, and maintenance package worth £1,150, alongside ‘free electricity’ for the month of December 2025.

On top of this, the 3-year tariff also offers six hours of discounted zero carbon electricity every day, all year round, saving at least £164 against Standard Variable prices; with the assurance of no exit fees or tie-ins.

Taking into account these discounts and the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Grant (or £9,000 for some rural areas in Scotland), a complete heat pump system that’s fully installed to suit each property’s individual requirements now starts from as low as £3,500.

Finance options are available to help customers spread the cost. With EDF’s new Recommendation Scheme, heat pump customers can also earn £250 cashback for themselves, and a £250 discount for their friend, with every referral.

However, the offer is limited to the first 100 eligible customers who apply.
